Check the water level no more frequently than necessary (typically every two weeks) by dipping a stake in the fill hole (like checking the oil level in your car). Refill the reservoir before it goes dry, then moisten the rubber stopper and replace it, pushing firmly with a slight twist. Deposit water-soluble fertilizer into the fill hole per their instructions.
Topsoil is wet or damp to the touch.
Solution:
- Repack soil into the Art Underplants™ pot.
Make sure the stopper is securely in the fill hole.
- Make sure that the sensor is solidly in the soil.
- Allow the soil to dry out until the topsoil is dry
to the touch before refilling reservoir.
Reservoir level remains unchanged between fillings.
Solution:
- If dry, slightly moisten soil mass from the top
but never over water.
- The Art UnderPlants™ is a precise watering system that should be used as described.
